I am a fair skinned person who has had traumatic cancer on my face and har a large scar across my face.

This keeps me from being pale and pasty looking and gives me a natural flow. It really works and I feel ll more confident. People use to call me pale Gayle! As I learned how to get a tan I didn’t realize how much I was damaging my skin and putting myself at risk. I have had several skin cancers and the face one I ended up with a very traumatic experience. Thank you for making a lotion type tanning product that doesn’t look fake and it definately doesn’t smell bad! Win win !

Another one of those stories where I need to stay out of the sun ☀️! My daughter spotted a mark on my forehead in 2024, and I’d already been seeing a dermatologist for a couple of years getting all my “chocolate chips” analyzed. My grandma (on my dad’s side) passed away from melanoma when I was just a twinkle in my dad’s eye, and my dad has had three bouts of skin cancer on his face, so when I was smart enough to start avoiding the sun (15+ years ago, long gone are the baby oil days!), I committed. I do what I can: 50+ SPF, no hot sunny holidays. Even still, I was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma on my forehead. Thank goodness my daughter noticed it, because I never would have looked twice at that spot.

So when I kept seeing Luna advertised everywhere, Jillian Harris with her glowing skin shining all the way from B.C. to here in Alberta, I figured it was time to put some life into this pale face! I bought three different products to try. Fair warning though: these lotions can lock into sun spots, so keep that in mind (I mean the self tanning Milk)

The Glow Gradual Tanning Moisturizer is my absolute favourite. It goes on like butter and does exactly what it promises, gradual. Within 24 hours you’ll notice a soft hue, and after just two applications a really beautiful, natural-looking tan starts to show up. A nice texture that smooths easily and delivers a subtle glow. I have a tan from my winter vacation and it is extending nicely.
